Now before you over react on the title read this a moment and i will explain. In Matthew 12:40 Jesus said he would be 3 days and 3 nights in the earth. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize from friday night to sunday morning is not 3 days and 3 nights.
In the accounts given in the Bible it noted that they had to get him in the ground before the Sabbath. In the Gospel Of John 19:31 it notes that the Sabbath approaching was a HIGH SABBATH. What does High Sabbath mean Leviticus 23:5-7 "In the fourteenth of the first month at even the LORD'S passover. And on the fifteenth day of the same month the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread. In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein." Now remember that we in America use the Gregorian calendar, but the Bible uses the Hebrew calendar. On the Hebrew calendar the day begins not at sun up but at sun down. The 9th hour of the day is 3 pm and the next day begins at 6 pm. Noting now that the High Sabbath begins at 6 pm we understand why they had to get them in the ground in haste.
Now we touch on the resurrection itself Leviticus 23:11 "And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it." This is called First Fruits takes place the first Sunday after Passover. We all know Jesus rose on Sunday morning Christians call it easter after the Babylonian goddess of fertility Ishtar. They celebrate pagan holidays and don't know it. But the book of Leviticus tells us to celebrate that day as a First Fruits. 1 Corinthians 15:20 "Christ is our First Fruits from the dead." Establishing that Jesus was already alive Sunday morning before the sun was up (John 20:1) he was not in the ground any of Sunday. Now we count back all day Saturday in the grave, all day Friday in the grave and all day Thursday in the grave. We now know Jesus died on Wednesday at 3 pm and was buried before Thursday began at 6 pm. I bet he rose exactly 72 hours after he was buried.
The next step we come to is Palm Sunday.... another lie. Mark 11:9-17 "Then those who went before and those who followed cried out, saying 'Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD! Blessed is the kingdom of our father David That comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!' And Jesus went into Jerusalem and into the temple. So when He had looked around at all things, as the hour was already late, He went out to Bethany with the twelve. Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry. And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. In response Jesus said to it, “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.” And His disciples heard it.Jesus Cleanses the Temple. So they came to Jerusalem. Then Jesus went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. And He would not allow anyone to carry wares through the temple." Why didn't he cast the money changers out the first time........... IT WAS THE SABBATH. It is illegal to buy or sell on the Sabbath thus far they were not there.
Now if we add dates to everything knowing that Wednesday was Passover, the 14th of Nissan. Sunday would be the 18th, and Jesus rode in on the 10th. Let us read Exodus 12:3,5,6 "Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house. Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats. And ye shall keep it up until the 14th day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening" On the 10th the high priest was bringing a lamb up from the south, Jesus was riding in from the east. The people were suppose to be singing Hosanna to the lamb as the priest walked in from the south but instead they sung it to the lamb riding in from the east.
Jesus was declared the faultless lamb on Passover after being selected on the 10th. Slain just as God commanded in Exodus 12:21 "Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and KILL THE PASSOVER." If Passover was a day you couldn't kill it, Passover was our Messiah. 1 Corinthians 5:7 "Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us"
I believe with a perfect faith that this is all true and the Bible testifies of it. If Jesus died on Friday he lied and could not have been our spotless lamb. I hope you all learn from this, purge out the old leaven of lies given by traditions, accept the truth and grow stronger in faith. I love you all
